TO OUR VALUED CLIENTS, FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY,
The health of our staff, clients and community are our top priority and we are taking proactive steps to do our part to slow the spread of this virus. We are following the updates, advice and recommendations of Health Canada and Alberta Health.
For the foreseeable future, our office will remain open and we will keep regular office hours. We are actively seeking out alternative ways to provide you with quality legal services in the event we do need to temporarily close our office. This may include video or telephone conferencing. If you would rather conference with us via video or telephone rather than meet face-to-face, please don't hesitate to let us know so we can accommodate you.
Until further notice, we will not be accepting walk-in clients. Please give our office a call to schedule an appointment, telephone call or video conference.
Any member of our staff who exhibits flu-like symptoms, becomes ill, exposed or returns from travel abroad will self-isolate for 14 days as recommended by Health Canada and Alberta Health.
We have been and will continue to be diligent in ensuring our office environment is clean and sanitized. This means daily cleaning of all surfaces and restrooms and regular wiping down throughout the day of all high traffic and contact points with antiseptic cleansers and wipes.
Soap and hand sanitizer are available for use by both staff and visitors to our office, and we strongly encourage the use of them.
We have a large supply of pens in our office that we regularly give to our clients and visitors. Please, if you use a pen, take it with you.
Please don't be offended if we practice “social distancing” or don’t shake your hand when you visit us. Trust us, you don't have bad breath. We're only following the recommendations put out by Health Canada and Alberta Health. We're always looking for new and creative ways to greet one another, so this is our chance to shine!
We ask that you also do your part to help keep us safe and well. If you are sick, or have travelled in the past 14 days, please reschedule your appointments with us, or conference via video or phone.
We will keep our website and social media up to date with any changes to our operations. Thank you for your patience and understanding. This is a difficult time for our city and the world around us, and we all must work together to keep ourselves and each other safe and well.
With gratitude and best wishes for your continued health,
Shelley L. Germann, B.A., J.D.
Gleb Malinovsky, B.A., J.D.
