Then you start to question why you would spend potentially hundreds of dollars on a lawyer when you could simply buy one of these kits for $34.99. Good question. We’re so glad you asked.

Alberta Courts Urges caution when using Artificial Intelligence in the practice of Law
On October 6, 2023, the Alberta Courts issued a caution to lawyers and self-represented litigants when using legal authorities or analysis derived from large language models (“LLMs”), which is a type of artificial intelligence capable of processing and generating human-like text based on vast amounts of training data, in court submissions due to concerns surrounding the potential fabrication of legal authorities.
